Cleaning Up Nature

On May 16 I helped my workplace pick up trash along the bike path and river for over 3 hours. There were some places along the path that had a lot of garbage and some hardly had any – it all depended on the location. The bad places were where there was a curve in the river where trash naturally floated and got stuck on the side at the bend or by sporting fields that the wind carried the trash there. It rained the first half of the project but it was still a wonderful day to get to know co-workers better outside of work and get a wonderful feeling from helping the community look better. We all need to help keep our environment clean and healthy. I also led 2 hours of yoga for free to some school teachers in    community. They were very appreciative of the chance to practice        and enjoy yoga with me. They teach in a very poor area of town and loved the stress relief.
