An Interview with HYS Boutique and Studio Artist Jess Glaspy
Who are you, and what do you create?
Hi! I’m Jess Glaspy, Colorado transplant as of 2016 from the vast corn and bean fields of the Midwest. I’m a graphic designer full-time and an aspiring yoga teacher. In my spare time I also love creating colorful artwork via paint or digital media.
Where is your favorite place to work on your art?
My favorite place to work on art is in the comfort of my own home, preferably with a candle or incense lit. ALWAYS with relaxing music playing and a cup of tea.
What is your current inspiration?
My current inspiration is from my personal journey through the 200hour Yoga Teacher Training. Yoga contains so many rich metaphors and visual inspiration for me. Along with that, the gorgeous nature surrounding us is a constant means of wonder and fuel for my imagination and spirit.
