Living in Harmony: the collective intention for our Holistic Health Retreat last weekend.
We began by taking a moment to ask ourselves “what does this mean?” Then, we spent the weekend exploring the idea. Bringing our bodies into harmony and balance through asana practice, harmonizing our minds through calming meditations and a restorative Yoga Nidra practice, finding harmony in nature on peaceful outdoor walks, relating to one another through exploratory topics off of the mat, allowing ourselves time for healing and introspection, and harmonizing our voices through song and chant. Using the weekend to take a break from our everyday chaotic, stressful lives, we were able to connect with each other and find a deeper sense of balance and harmony within ourselves that we can hopefully continue to carry with us as we move through our daily routines and lives outside of the peaceful sacred space of the yoga shala.
